nginx reverse proxy with pm2 keeping the app alive is the standard setup for this. ssl via certbot takes about 10 minutes. id also check your node version and set up a proper .env so nothing breaks in prod. can have it fully live today, a few hours max. what os is the vps running, ubuntu 20 or 22? that'll tell me if we need any extra steps.
