Next.js 16 i18n Implementation

For the implementation, it depends on how large the website is, because most of the work is static and done manually. If I estimate without reviewing the site, it may lead to a miscommitment. What I can offer is that I can mobilise multiple resources to expedite the process. However, the size and scope of the site are not confirmed yet. I would appreciate it if you could add us as a temporary user to your GitHub repository so that my developer can quickly review the project structure and understand how the current implementation is organized. The main challenge here is that the site is already developed, so we will first need to identify where all the static UI text is currently placed in the codebase. Once we review the structure, we can determine the best way to refactor the application to introduce i18next, replace hardcoded text with translation keys, and organize the translation files properly without breaking the existing functionality.

Hi there This will go smoothly only if the i18n layer fits Next 16 App Router cleanly across server components, static generation, and the admin dashboard without changing route behavior. The risky parts are missed hard coded strings, broken locale routing, hydration issues, inconsistent Greek wording, and type or build failures after key extraction. I would first scan the repo for all user facing strings and current routing patterns, then wire the locale structure and replace one full flow end to end to verify build, lint, and types still pass. Do you already use next intl or any i18n package in the repo? Are there product terms in the dashboard that should stay in English rather than be translated into Greek? I have done translation driven UI refactors where the real work was keeping App Router behavior intact while making the system easy to extend later.
