For the bidding sync, I will use Redis Streams over basic pub/sub — this gives durable message history so reconnecting clients catch missed bids without polling, which is critical during competitive auction windows. Questions: 1) Do you need WebSocket connections or would SSE suffice for the real-time updates? 2) How should commission logic work — flat fee, percentage, or tiered?
