3d Graphics Translation Component.
I require a C# component to be developed that will translate a collada (.dae) file to microsoft d3d (.x) file.
The component will take as input a collada file and output a .x file.
The number of mesh entities and approximate number of triangles that have been processed will be exposed. Only files from one vendor need to be supported (see attached example) which is a subset of the collada spec. Source code must be supplied that contains meaningful english function and variable names.
Any number of examples demonstrating features will be supplied.

Only the mesh and texture UV portion need to be translated. Transparency needs to be suppored as does specular values. no animation, lights etc.
Your compay will be able to demonstrate experience in this area. Further work will be available.
