.Net site driven by Everest software. We are needing filtering modifications done to our Everest driven website. Information on Everest can be found at [url removed, login to view] .
A solution needs to be devised to allow make, model and year filtering utilizing the internal tracking groups offered by the back end software. The entire site is database driven and is directly tied into our inventory/order processing software.
We tag each item with a make, model, year, and area. The items would need to display accordingly on the website when the selections are chosen. The functionality is there for the most part, but it will need to be displayed differently. Rather than selection lists, we would like drop downs. From what I can see right now, only one filter is allowed at a time. We need to be able to select multiple filters, then display results when all selections have been made.
In the end, customers need to be able to select the bike they have. Once selected, the customer would then choose the area of the motorcycle they needs parts for. After selection, an image would display showing a break down of the parts. Below the image of the parts would be the list of items pertaining to their bike for that area of the bike. This is typically used in OE parts finders for modern day dealerships.
