Full time senior C#, MySQL development for payment hardware

We are Japan based company needing a full time senior level developer.

<Requirements>

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent in relevant work experience.

- 3 years of previous programming/work experience.

- Experience with Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008, MySQL, in C#, and in Windows Foundation Presentation.

- Experience with accessing hardware through RS-232C

- Full time commitment (between 4 to 8 hours a day) for 1 months.

<Project detail>

- Create cashless payment Windows PC software development.

- Using felica electric cash card, we charge customer.

- When cash card is scanned, PC looks local database and look for ID. If ID with valid contract is found, send signal over RS-232C to open a gate. No API is available for accessing RS-232C, C# program needs to access the hardware directly.

- We are currently making web server using Java and are looking for full time C# developer who can work remotely.

- We have to complete this project in 1.5 months.

<Example of system flow>

Decision making process can be like this.

Client arrives Gate and shows his or her cash card ->

If contract is valid -> open the gate and log the event.

If invalid -> If enough money is there in cash card -> open gate, charge,

log the event. If not enough money available -> makes alert with beep, log the event, and send the log to web server.

- On kiosk terminal, at least following function should be included:

a. Buying ticket and fee should be configurable

b. Not much management system at kiosk terminal is needed.

In management mode, it can search for members with various keywords,

such as showing cash card, by name, by phone number, by ID.

It should also be able to show how many people are entering in

different time periods and show logs (list of purchase, etc)

- Door gate also have cash card reader on the top of the gate.

- Both Japanese and English screens and Japanese virtual keyboard(on

screen)

- Every step must have atomicity and no duplicates.

For example, the first step "approaching the gate" and "approaching

the terminal" seems to be duplicating. Perhaps we may have different

understanding for this, so I am modifying the flow chart myself.

<Components>

Server software - expected to run on Linux server

- Java based system and provides web access.

We will be storing central server on rental server.

- provide analysis system including payment log, access log.

Kiosk payment machine

- hardware components: thermal printer (usb), felica based specialized

payment hardware (cash card), touch screen monitor, electric gate, speaker.

Those are connected to a pc. (atom processor, 16GB ssd, 1GB ram.)

- OS:Windows XP embedded

- The PC(kiosk terminal) is expected to have about 1 million customer

data, and electrical gate is expected to open within 0.2 seconds after

checking status from mifare card. Because of that, database structure

and program must be sophisticated.

- There will be several kiosk terminals with the same physical structure.

- It will also required to access online payment system.

We already hired Java developer, and you are required to work with the Java developer as team lead.

<Payment and schedule>

$1800 USD for entire project in C#.

For first 4 hours, you are required to demonstrate skills.

When I confirm good ability to do the work, I proceed with initial payment of $300 in 1 day. With solid progress of the project after 15 days, I pay $500.

When project is complete, I will pay other parts.
