Need help to convert 2 fields (nvarchar datatype) to a date field ( date datatype ) in MS Sql server 2008r2. For example: field1 ='22nd' , field2 = 'May, 2013'; both these fields are in nvarchar ( 50). Prefer a store procedure or a SQL update to insert a date value into a date field3 according to those nvarchar field1&field2. The result should be '2013-05-22' in the field3 ( date datatype ).
