This system is in the final design stages with the client. It is built on SQL Express (or mySQL, programmer's choice). It also has the potential to be a multi-phase project as a result of the success of this project, with additional functionality being added to this system. Programmer MUST know how to incorporate industrial technologies. System has 4 HMI's that will use the same UI, nut be enabled to separate modes. Each HMI will be identical. The first HMI will receive grade input for the product. The second HMI will receive weight through RS232. The third HMI will be designated (for the plant) as the main controller and will provid the most information, including grade, location, and drop. The final HMI will be primarily display, showing grade of product via color selection. All HMI's will be programmed with Win 10 as OS. Contractor will be providing customer with reporting via ODBC/JDBC interface. This is not part of scope, but may become a Phase 1.2 based upon customer need.
Phase 2, upon completion will include an outgoing scale. more details will be provided.
Potential Phase 3 will include RFID tracking. Phase 3 has only been discussd and not a given, so system must be enabled to track product through counting of photo sensor triggers.
Upon successful completion of Phase 1, programmer/team will be automatically granted Phase 2 contract.
Programmer/team must know SQL/mySQL and industrial technologies to descimate information from relays, and scale (RS232/ASCI),. Products have been selected and will be provided to programmer/team who wins contract. If Phase 3 is confirmed, it will also be granted to selected programmer/team.
Upon approval, complete business documents will be provided within 5 business days. TTU expected the first or second week of July, continent of project availability.
This system was developed as a result of the customer's specific request to no develope a PLC system. It isdesigned to enable the Sys Admin to remotely log into the system to troubleshoot issues.
