Inspirational Memorial Gala Video

Our annual Habitat for Humanity gala will open with a 3–5 minute tribute to our late President & CEO, and I need a skilled editor who can shape an inspirational, uplifting story from the rich material we already have. You will receive: • Raw interviews with colleagues and family (recorded in 1080p) • A library of clips from past builds, fundraising events, and milestone celebrations • A curated folder of photos and candid videos that capture his leadership and heart What I’m after is a polished piece that gracefully weaves those sources together—think tight narrative flow, clean transitions, tasteful lower-thirds for speaker names, and a warm music bed that rises at just the right moments. Subtle motion-graphics for quotes or key statistics about his impact would be a plus, but the emotion should always stay front-and-center. Technical expectations • Final runtime: 3–5 minutes • Aspect ratio: 16:9, Full HD (1920×1080) master; a 60-second social cut is a welcome bonus • Deliverables: final video (H.264 .mp4), project file (Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X), and any custom graphics assets I’ll supply a rough outline and interview timecodes to help you hit the highlights; from there, you handle pacing, color, audio sweetening, and light grading. First draft is ideally within one week so we have room for at least one revision round before gala night. If you have experience crafting short-form memorial or nonprofit pieces, I’d love to see examples—especially those that balance heartfelt storytelling with forward-looking optimism.
