Cut every rep to the beat and the movement stops reading. The viewer sees motion, not form. Beat syncing works between shots. Inside a shot, one full rep often needs to play uncut. A tennis swing, a press, a sprint start. The beat can drive the entry, but the movement itself needs its natural length. Cut it short to hit the next beat and the viewer stops seeing what's being done. Same music, different internal rhythms. Captions work the same way. Big and bold reads well on a 15-second clip. On a 60 second one, huge captions staying on screen the whole way become the video. They need to sit slightly smaller as the pacing ramps, so the footage carries the energy too. What kind of movements are in the first batch, tennis swings, gym reps, or more general lifestyle shots? Each reads at a different cut length.
