Student interaction app

First I need is a very simple user interface (developer choice). I don’t want to consume much of the user’s phone memory, mobile data or battery, just a lightweight application. The students can add a text or a figure ONLY. No audio or video streaming. It’s an after school lecture “student-teacher” interaction application (Android). The application scenario should work like this: After the lecture ends, the teacher adds one of the lecture’s main ideas (suppose that the chapter has four main ideas), then the students need to contribute to the topic (replying, commenting on each other (nested style) or add images). Students should be able to ask for help from each other or the teacher to clarify an idea while studying or solving home work or preparing for a quiz or a midterm. Teachers can add many discussion topics for each subject. Teachers should be able to stop the discussion after a while and post a quick quiz as well. Types of questions that the teacher post to initiate a lecture topic for discussion should be: 1- Poll [agree or disagree] then students discuss the topic and proof their answer, add image from a book or lab experiments or surroundings etc. 2-fill in the blanks 3-multiple choice question 4-true or false 5-Ordering or matching question 6-define something. This is a school project and not for business use (we might test it in school to see how it works by asking a couple of teachers to use it in their class, for feedback purposes, i guess there is almost no overhead involved in application access and hosting). We should keep it very simple. -login screen: i think we can use Student’s name (appears next to student answer), e-mail and ask them to create a password. no need for facebook etc login methods. After sign up , students will select the subject and send an “add request” to the teacher. -Subject screen, students click on the subject a drop down list will show the teacher’s added discussion topics. Students names should appear next to their answers. It is Important that students can comment on each other’s answers. But no need for likes or reports etc Teachers post no tests, instead I was thinking that after some time, the teacher Stops the discussion and Post a classic question, should be answered by all students and within 5 to 10 minutes only. Am sorry for writing too much, but am trying to skip app details for now, and just focus on the main idea.(teacher post topic, students reply and comment on each other, at the end a simple one line question). We should allow teachers to create two groups and post an idea and let students discuss among each other, agree disagree etc “Poll “ ?? Teachers need to be able to split class into groups “debate” . Optional : Something to show teachers which student participated more than the others!! Thank you so much in advance.
