Rebuild or port iOS app to Android

This project is to rebuild or port an existing iOS app to Android. The Android UI will be nearly identical to the iOS app. The backend processes should be optimized for performance on Android, taking advantage of all relevant native frameworks when possible. The Android app should be supported by Android devices running Android Jelly Bean or later. Preference will be given to developers experienced with building apps for both Android and iOS. The ability to read and understand our iOS code may prove useful for this project but is not required. However, the ability to interact with our existing iOS app on an iPhone for reference to the existing UX is required. Developers will be provided with the following specifications and content to be used for development: - written development guide detailing all processes, functions and the UX - visual development guide that includes app flows and prototypes/wireframes - user interface development guides detailing variations of complex views - server query guides that detail how to interact with our server - database guides that detail how we store and interpret user data - access to our live iOS app via App Store download (iPhone REQUIRED) - access to our iOS code - all graphic images and icons The following will be expected by the conclusion of the project: - a working Android app developed and designed according to the explicit specifications provided in the development guides - thorough testing and debugging on a variety of Android devices - assistance with successfully publishing the app to Google Play Throughout the term of the project, we expect to receive regular builds of the app as evidence of progress. Builds will be required before the associated milestones are released. In most cases, we prefer to manage the development of our projects internally. We use a free, third party project management tool called Trello. Dependent on your project management capabilities, use of our project management tool may be required.
