I need an Android app. I would like it designed and built.
Build an MMO game.
I liked that PE had complex battle mechanics you needed to learn and adapt to. It wasn't just a 'send-all-and hope for the best' game, or at least it didnt need to be. You needed to know what troops to use, what fort settings to use and sometimes time attacks properly. Although having a ton of troops was an advantage, knowing how to use them properly was more important. It was one of the few MMOs that you could actually be really good or really bad at.
I liked that it wasn't pay-to-win and had daily/weekly/monthly limits to what they could buy, what advantages they could get etc. Even though spenders had an edge, people could compete without spending anything if they knew what they were doing.
I liked that it was a war between 2 factions. You were immediately part of a huge team and had thousands of people on your side and it got *very* competitive at times. Whereas in alliance-based MMOs players can be a bit more isolated, get bullied by bigger players in the dominant alliance and there's not really a common goal everyone aims for.
I liked the warzone and think the warzone point system was important for newer players, but I'd have preferred to have Strongholds matter more. In a new game I'd like Strongholds to determine which side owns a sector, and warzone point totals to determine how strong a faction's Stronghold is. Higher wzp in a sector would mean higher amounts of troops spawn in the Stronghold, and at a faster rate.
Getting shredded sucked but it was an important part of the game, a way to damage opponents and play efficiently with your gems. In a new game it would be good to still be able to shred people, but maybe with some limits to prevent people getting shredded to oblivion overnight and quitting. I would keep the same revive system however if someone was offline and the same fort was attacked 100 times, something should kick in and prevent further shredding. Either some sort of automatic invincibility, or an auto-reinforcement of the troops to the player's homeland city.
FM were overpowered on Freedom and Legacy, but underpowered on Revolution. A 100% revive made them have no risk to use and meant people accumulated ridiculous amounts of them, while a 99% revive meant you could barely use an FM set on Revolution to sweep. I'd like to see a new game have FM with 99.9% revive rate so people could use 999 of each type, 2997 total. Enough FM to sweep and shred, but not enough to completely dominate and become almost unstoppable with no risk.
One problem with the game was that it was so draining. Everyone that had troops inthe warzone had to be glued to their phone for hours every day. Invincibility cooldowns were just too long. I'm not really sure how to fix this, but a combination of the limits to being shredded mentioned above, and a reduction in the invincibility cooldown time could help. Cooldown could be reduced from 1/2 of the invincibility time to 1/3 and would ease some of the stress on wz fighters.
Cheating was fun as hell sometimes, but it obviously ruined the game. The market needs to be changed, whether it can be changed and still player-controlled, or made into a fixed price market that automatically fills orders. Reinforcements would need limits of some kind or there would need to be a better way of limiting how many alts people can use (possibly by linking accounts to goodle accounts?). There would have to be a better emulator detection system.
