Hi. I have an idea for an android app for my [url removed, login to view] app is basically a database and a live google map hybrid, with a back end and a front end. The app will involve an admin placing multiple markers on points within google maps for on field agents to interact with. Only authorized agents can view the front end of the map and authorized admins can alter the back end.
The back end is the means through which the app admins can put pins/markers along with other information inserted into the markers. The back end contains a search bar with which i can type in a coordinate and the screen will take me to that point on the map, where i can now affix a marker to that point and insert all the required information. Inserted in each marker are a title, coordinates, unique information tags (for searching/filtering for a list of markers in the front end), pictures (that can be rearranged in any order required for page numbers via the back end) and downloaded in pdf format via the front end of the app. Once a marker is saved on the back end, it saves automatically into the cloud and can be viewed immediately on the front end or hidden on the front end.
The front end is basically a live google map for on field agents. With the front end of the app, agents can view their location on the map in relation to the markers (point of interests as indicated by the admin) in his surrounding and can view the information inserted into a marker with the option to download the information/files in a pdf format file. The information on the front end cannot be altered (only downloaded and shared). The agent using the front end can then from his location (also view able on the front end map) navigate to any point on the map by tracing his route through the map or by using external apps (like Uber or google maps for android app). The front end will also have a search bar whereby a marker titles can be searched and a filter bar where markers with unique tags can be filtered and displayed.
