“idea” is just a word used to help me carry across the main message without revealing everything about the app.
Users can submit an “idea” and type it into the app. The app must detect if many of the words match an idea someone has already submitted. If they do, the user will be shown this existing idea and asked if they still want to submit their own.
If they do, my staff will receive it and check whether or not it is unique or important enough. If it is, it will then be sent out in the form of a pop-up notification to 500 of those who own the app chosen randomly. These 500 will rate the idea from 1 to 5. If the idea receives a score of 4 or higher it will then be sent to ALL app users for them to rate also. In both stages, app users can always click on the notification to read more about the idea before they determine what to rate it. This information they read was information my staff typed up. Th reason for all the ranking involved is that at the end of the month, let’s say, all ideas will be put in order of highest to lowest score (hopefully this can be done automatically by the app) so that we end up with a list of top 10 ideas.
