We are looking for a talented developer or small agency being able to help us with a lean app-prototype for use with our existing customer pool.
The non-native app should allow our clients to EASILY use their iPhone or Android phone to order our products most conveniently.
Most of our clients do not have PC but a mobile phone always available.
The app should basically provide a simple, responsive UI with an easy usability as outlined in the attached wireframes.
App shall be non-native (web-app) to be easily used on both iPhone and Android phones (no native app necessary).
The only "bells&whistles" that we think of is the app to be able to invoke the phone's barcode scanner in order to scan an EAN code of a product (see wireframes).
The rest is pretty straightforward.
We already have a lean (desktop) online order system in place which is providing a well documented API to be used for the mobile (web-)app. The API passes on all necessary data to the app and receives the data from the app.
So in short, we would need:
- a basic (responsive) frontend (as described in the wireframes provided)
- which is receiving data from and passing on to the API
- being able to invoke the barcode scanner
- optional: being able to cache some of the information to deliver an outstanding customer experiene.
Please definitely see the attached wireframes to get a deeper understanding. We think it should give a good first overview. Full API documentation (JSON via HTTP rest) will be provided upon start of project.
We are staying in a close communication loop and are coders ourselves, so collaboration should be smooth.
Please get in touch with us for deeper questions. We are looking forward to hearing from you!
