Looking for a freelance shop to build our iOS app which is heavily focused on AR for clothing. We will turn over completed Sketch files and user flows of the entire interface design, and you will be responsible to develop the app. You will not be responsible for any design, only development.
The app should allow a user to create an account, and synchronize a product data feed (conforming to Google's product data specifications: [url removed, login to view]). The user will have an account administration screen that allows them to view and edit settings that are described below. Within the admin area, the user can control display settings for the shopping interface described below, like color, logo, typography, etc.
1.) The application will take the 2D images of clothing and convert them into 3D surfaces that are rendered on a human body in AR. The images will be coming from a Product data feed as mentioned above. The product data from the feed can be stored on a server and synchronized daily to the user account. The 3D clothing surfaces should be rendered from either a singular from image of a garment or from a front and rear image of a garment. For example, if both front and back images are included in the feed, you will mesh the two images together to wrap it around the user shown in the AR stage. The mesh should include wrapping the 2 images together to account for things like shirt collars, designs on the sleeve, etc. If a front and rear image are not included in the product feed, the app would simply assume the rear of the clothing follows the same base color or pattern of the front with no additional design variation added.
2.) The application will also allow the user to select a shopping interface instead of the AR stage, which means showing categories of products and product details from the product feed on their device. So, under this shopping interface, it would not be using the AR stage in the same viewport. However, it could toggle between the views. We will have design templates for a category view, and a product detail page as an example. The app can allow the user to toggle between the shopping interface and AR stage interface from their admin panel as well.
3.) The application should allow 2 devices logged into the same user account to display the shopping interface on one device and the AR stage on another. The 2 devices should be sharing data so that when an option is clicked on the shopping interface device, it changes the color of the clothing on the device showing the AR stage. It would need to relay data between both devices to allow them to work together if needed.
We are going to leave this project hourly, however you must included a fixed price bid for the project based on the description above. We will not consider bids that do not have a fixed price estimate.
Please send examples of the AR apps you have built, and if you have any experience with 3D rendering from 2D surfaces, please send those examples as well.
