We have an iPhone app that needs some very minor revisions due to the fact that the last programmer on Vworker disappeared on us (first time this ever happened). We only need a few minor tweaks to complete it. It is a restaurant locator app, and already functions as needed. We are an iphone app development company that outsources all of the coding, so this project may turn into many more future projects, as we always have many at the same time. Here are the changes we need done (they will be more clear after you see the well commented source code upon successful bid):
**1) CHANGE TO EXISTING RATING SYSTEM -** Existing rating system uses an action script on view to get the input for the star rating, then sends the info to the next view where the user fills out their full review and the star rating is passed along with it. We want the star rating built into the existing full review view, so everything is on one page. It will become clear once you see the code. Very easy. We already have the new graphic file to replace the background of the review page view to make the change. SEE ATTACHED SCREENSHOTS for how this is currently implemented versus the proposed change.
**2) NEW .XIB VIEW ADDED AND LINKED -** There is currently a feature where a user can check a box if they have been to that restaurant. We need a new view added that will display a table of the locations that a user has checked. This data is already saved locally on the users device. It should display the restaurants name, city and state from the records that are checked. We will put a new button at the bottom of the [login to view URL] (button PNG already made) that will link to the new view.
**3) ADD SPINNING WHEEL ACTIVITY INDICATOR -** When the pictures are being loaded, we have a custom made loading graphic that displays. In the center of the screen, we would also like to add the spinning wheel, indicating that the phone is downloading data, which is standard with most apps (we prefer the screen not to dim to a 50% white opaque as this happens however, as some apps do).
**5) CONVERT TO UNIVERSAL APP -** Once all above changes are implemented, we need to convert the project to a universal app which is iPad compatible. It's currently an iPhone 5.0 project. If graphical changes are needed, I can personally adjust the PSD and PNG files to accommodate the new sizes, just let me know what dimensions are needed.
These changes shouldn't take long at all... an hour or two at the most, since the app is already functional, we are just modifying existing, well-commented code. It should be noted that the app currently works with both the 3.5 inch display as well as the new iPhone 5's 4 inch display, and any changes made need to do the same. We are an outsourcing iPhone app development company with many projects, so the winning bidder will probably get a chance to get many more future projects from us that pay much better. This would be more of a test project to see if you are a good fit for a future business relationship. We do all graphics here in-house, so we only need the coding done on all of our projects.
