We are looking for an experienced and skilled person who can develop the firmware for commercialization in an agricultural and city parks environment.
*** PRODUCT SUMMARY ***
- Consists of TWO types of devices: 'Gateway', which is an Internet-facing (WiFi) device communicating with the API, and 'Nodes' between 20-50x communicating with the Gateway via the on-premises mesh network (ZigBee)
- Both Gateway and Node are almost identical in hardware components and design; both use their respective I/O channels to operate agricultural sensors or irrigation valves.
- Customers will DIY their devices on their farm by connecting to each device's Bluetooth and providing the device with what it takes to join an existing on-premises WiFi network or existing lorawwan network (from a pre-installed Gateway).
- Customers interact with devices via a mobile app (React Native app) where they run the device (get sensor reading, open/close valve, start/stop pump, ping device to check device is online) and then via mobile app UI interactions , commands are sent to the gateway (via API) before they are issued by the gateway on the farm, so the intended device receives that instruction.
