Improve Layout of an Existing Microsoft Word Form (.docx)

I am looking for someone experienced with Microsoft Word to improve the layout and visual structure of an existing form. The form is currently implemented in Microsoft Word using tables and basic formatting. It works well but looks visually outdated. I would like to modernize the appearance and improve readability while keeping everything fully compatible with Microsoft Word.
