We are seeking an experienced Firmware Engineer to lead the development of embedded software for next-generation industrial IoT systems. The role involves working with high-speed data interfaces, advanced wireless technologies, and sensor integration. I’m a Mechatronics Engineer based in India with 5+ years of hands-on experience in embedded firmware and industrial IoT systems, and I’m available to start immediately. A few projects that are directly relevant: 1. Built IIoT backend + firmware systems for Apollo Tyres and Trident Pneumatics, including MQTT-based communication, sensor integration, and TimescaleDB-backed data pipelines on resource-constrained hardware. 2. Worked extensively on ESP32-class devices with Wi-Fi/BLE integration, OTA updates, power state handling, and watchdog-based recovery for field reliability. 3. Developed and debugged HAL-level drivers across SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, and DMA in both RTOS and bare-metal environments. 4. Comfortable working closely with hardware teams during bring-up — including schematic review, pin planning, SWD/JTAG debug setup, and UART-based diagnostics. 5. Also worked on a proprietary smart speaker platform on embedded Linux, involving audio transport pipelines, WebSocket proxying, and mTLS-based communication on Radxa hardware. In terms of delivery, I try to keep things practical and maintainable: reproducible builds, structured logging for debugging, and code that someone else can actually continue working on later.
