Chinese-Bulgarian TCM Interpreter Needed

In early October I will accompany a delegation from a leading Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital as we deliver a ten-day programme of TCM courses in Bulgaria. Throughout the visit I need an on-site interpreter who can move easily between Mandarin (or Cantonese, if required) and Bulgarian, ensuring that every lecture, demonstration and business discussion flows smoothly for both the Chinese trainers and our local partners. A basic understanding of TCM terminology is essential so you can keep up with topics such as acupuncture techniques, herbal formulations and clinical case sharing without slowing the sessions down. Most interpreting will be consecutive, though short segments may call for whispered or liaison interpreting during informal meetings with medical professionals and government representatives. The trip forms part of a Belt and Road Initiative project backed by China’s Ministry of Commerce, so professional conduct and punctual daily attendance are crucial. I will cover all authorised travel within Bulgaria as well as a competitive fee for the full ten days.
