We have a patented design of a system that can capture CO2 from the exhaust air of the Internal Combustion engines. This system recovers the heat from the exhaust air stream by using turbo-compressors and a set of Heat Exchanger Network. The CO2 in the stream is absorbed on an absorbent material and after reaching the saturation point of the absorbent, it is sent to a compressor for storing at high pressure.
We have the required simulations and models and based on that we want to find a partner to create the final mechanical design for producing the prototype. The knowledge in thermal design of energy systems (pinch analysis, exergy analysis, heat exchanger network design, etc.), mechanical/product design, and manufacturing design are required.
