I have a pressure vessel (picture of which is attached). Pressure inside the vessel is 15MPa and temperature is around 330 degrees, slightly below the saturation temperature at 15MPa. Valve of the pressure vessel at the bottom is opened for 45 second. This results in flashing of water to steam as pressure outside is atmospheric. Now you need to calculate the fatigue life of the pressure vessel i.e. how many cycles will the vessel be able to sustain. This will involve resolving the fluid domain in Fluent to find the temperature distribution and then using the results in stress calculations.
