What on-site power is available (voltage/current), and what are the environmental/noise constraints (indoor/outdoor, temperature, dust, audience proximity, mounting space)? Use a continuous-duty BLDC gearmotor with ≥2.0 service factor, sealed bearings, and generous thermal headroom, coupled via a timing belt or torque‑limiting coupling to absorb shocks and ease service. Instrument the drive with temp/current/vibration sensing, soft‑start and torque limits, hardwired E‑stop, and a quick‑swap motor/gearbox module on dowel‑pinned mounts to minimize downtime.
