I already have stamped, county-approved AC plans for a commercial build in Pinellas County, but the fresh-air intake layout is more elaborate than it needs to be. I need a Florida-licensed Mechanical Engineer to: • Examine the current, permitted drawings in detail. • Identify every opportunity to streamline the outside-air intake while remaining 100 % compliant with the Florida Building Code. My main driver is to cut construction costs without sacrificing code requirements. • Produce a replacement set of drawings—clearly marked as revisions—ready for immediate resubmission to the county. These must carry your Florida PE seal and signature (digital seal is fine). Preferred file format is AutoCAD (DWG) plus a clean PDF package. I will supply the existing plan set and any county red-lines as soon as we start. Please outline your anticipated approach, turnaround time, and any information you’ll need from me to complete the review and redraw quickly. To the winning bidder, I will share my google drive link to the pdf of the current plans.

Hi, hope you are doing well. I understand you already have approved HVAC plans, and you want to simplify the fresh air intake without breaking Florida code. I have worked on commercial HVAC plan reviews and redesigns where the goal was to reduce duct complexity and cost while keeping full code compliance. I will carefully review your existing stamped drawings, identify unnecessary intake paths or oversizing, and propose a cleaner, more efficient layout. Then I will deliver a revised drawing set in DWG and PDF, clearly marked for resubmission and ready for Florida PE sealing. My approach is practical and construction-focused, so changes are easy to build and reduce material and labor cost. Typical turnaround is 2–4 days after receiving your files. Looking forward to working on this with you. thank you, Maksim

Hi, Michael! Thanks for the clear brief. I focus on cost-effective ventilation solutions that stay 100% compliant with the Florida Building Code and ASHRAE 62.1, reducing construction cost while preserving performance and approval readiness. Scope of work: - Review your permitted set and county red-lines in detail. - Recalculate ventilation per ASHRAE 62.1 (zone/area method, diversity, DCV opportunities). - Simplify OA intake strategy: consolidate intakes, optimize duct routing, louvers, and dampers. - Update control sequences (economizer/DCV), schedules, and coordination with smoke/fire life-safety. - Produce clouded revision sheets with revision block and updated calcs. - Deliver DWG plus a clean, submission-ready PDF package. Additional info needed: - Current stamped DWG/PDF set and all comments. - Equipment selections, airflow/schedules, and sequences. - Occupancy categories and operating hours. - Latest architectural/structural backgrounds and any owner standards. If you have a Florida PE of record, I will prepare the full revision package for their rapid review and digital seal. If not, I can coordinate a Florida PE from my network to provide sealing. I am prepared to talk about your project and can begin right away. Best regards, Scott
