I need a detailed modal analysis carried out in ANSYS Mechanical (Workbench or APDL) on a composite beam that is mounted on linear springs at both ends. The study is part of my master’s research, so every modelling choice—from element selection and mesh sensitivity to boundary condition justification—must be fully traceable. Two configurations must be investigated: 1. The bare beam on linear springs. 2. The same beam on linear springs with a centrally-mounted lumped mass (a disc). I already have the exact beam dimensions and material properties for the composite lay-up; I will share them once the project starts. What I require from you is to import or build the geometry, assign the composite stack, model the linear spring supports correctly, and extract natural frequencies and mode shapes for both cases. Deliverables • ANSYS project files (Workbench *.wbpj or APDL *.db) for each configuration • A short technical note (Word or PDF) summarising the modelling assumptions, element types, boundary conditions, mesh convergence check, and the first six natural frequencies with annotated mode-shape screenshots • Any MATLAB, Python, or Excel post-processing scripts you might use to verify the results (optional but appreciated) Acceptance criteria • Frequency results within 3 % of an independently calculated analytical or published reference, clearly documented • Mode shapes visually consistent with beam theory expectations • All settings saved so that I can rerun the simulation without modification If you are comfortable with composite material definitions, linear spring elements, and thorough modal post-processing in ANSYS, I look forward to working with you.

Hi there, I’ve read your ANSYS modal analysis brief carefully and I’m confident I can deliver a fully traceable, repetition-ready study for both configurations of the composite beam on linear springs. I bring hands-on experience in composite material modeling, ANSYS Workbench/APDL, and rigorous mesh convergence with clearly justified boundary conditions. What I’ll deliver: import/build geometry, assign the exact composite layup, implement accurate linear spring supports at both ends, and extract the first six natural frequencies and mode shapes for both cases. I’ll provide a well-documented technical note detailing assumptions, element choices, boundary justification, mesh convergence, and a results appendix with annotated mode shapes. If you’d like, I can also supply MATLAB/Python scripts to automate post-processing checks. I’ve shared an initial estimate based on your description, and once we go over a few technical or functional details, I’ll confirm the exact cost and delivery schedule. Asad - I understand the precision your master’s work requires and I’ll ensure every modelling choice is fully traceable and reproducible, including a step-by-step verification against an analytical reference. What are the exact beam dimensions and material properties for the composite lay-up, and do you prefer ANSYS Workbench or APDL for the implementation to align with your current workflow? Best regards, Asad

Vutuk Design and Media is pleased to submit this proposal for your ANSYS Beam Modal Analysis project. Our firm offers a sophisticated engineering and visualization suite, specializing in the structural validation and "Digital Twin" modeling of industrial components. We understand that identifying natural frequencies is essential for long-term mechanical reliability, and we bridge the gap between complex mathematical frequency data and professional technical presentation. Would you like a 3D animation showcasing the exaggerated mode shapes (bending, torsional, and axial) for the first five natural frequencies? Are you looking for a "Sensitivity Study" to determine how changing the beam's geometry could shift the natural frequencies away from a specific operating speed? Should we provide a Campbell Diagram if there is a specific rotating excitation frequency involved? Do you require the final documentation to include a detailed mesh-convergence study to verify the accuracy of the vibration results? We invite you to explore our profile and portfolio to view our diverse range of industrial designs and high-end technical visualizations. Vutuk Design and Media is ready to provide a world-class, professional result for your vibration analysis project.

As a full-stack engineer with over 6 years of experience, my skills may not lie within the exact domain of ANSYS Mechanical, but my expertise in Excel and Python make me an ideal candidate for your project. I bring to the table not only an aptitude for clean and maintainable software architecture, which will be essential in your requirement for traceability, but also a strong background in data analytics and process automation. Though my experience doesn't directly reflect composite material definitions or linear spring elements, I possess significant adaptability and quick-learning ability toward new tools and technologies. That means that even with my current gap in ANSYS familiarity, training myself on its usage alongside grasping the ins and outs of both composite material definitions and linear springs won't be tedious tasks. Moreover, my proficiency in Excel and Python will be most helpful during the post-processing stage where you requested the inclusion of meaningful scripts to verify results. I assure you that if selected for this project, I'll adhere strictly to mesh sensitivity considerations, boundary condition justifications and comprehensively document every modeling choice made. With me, you're getting a versatile problem solver who's eager to dive into something new and challenging.

You can verify my background, publications and technical experience directly on my LinkedIn profile. I can perform your full modal analysis in ANSYS (Workbench or APDL), including correct modeling of the composite beam, linear spring supports, and the two configurations you require (with and without concentrated mass). I will justify every step: element selection, mesh strategy, boundary conditions, material definition, convergence checks and analytical validation with an error below 3%. I can also provide optional Python/MATLAB scripts for post‑processing or analytical comparison. Deliverables include: • ANSYS project files (clean and reproducible) • Mode shapes and frequencies • Technical report with assumptions, methodology, screenshots and validation • Clear explanation of the analytical reference used for comparison Delivery time: 2–3 days Payment terms: you only pay after delivery and validation. I can start immediately once you share the composite layup and spring parameters.

Hello, I’m a Mechanical Engineer specialized in FEA, with experience in ANSYS Workbench/APDL performing modal and structural analyses, including composite lay-ups. I will deliver the ANSYS project files for each case plus a short technical report documenting: element/section choices, boundary condition and spring modelling justification, mesh convergence, and the first six natural frequencies with annotated mode-shape screenshots. Results will be set up so you can rerun everything without changes and compare against an analytical/published reference to meet the ±3% criterion. If my profile matches what you're looking for, I would be glad to discuss your project further or provide any additional information. Best regards, Marcos Grignoli
