This is a model of a popular giant monster character that was created in Maya and Mudbox. It's nearly finished, but could use some more love with painting and texturing. Additionally, we're looking to have the character nicely rigged and ready for animation.
Modelling is completed and looks great. At last check, the UV's and Normals were completed and baking properly. Most of what is left on the character is creating a muscle/skeleton rig and getting him ready for animation.
This character is for use in a short film that will eventually end up on a Blu Ray disk. The quality of the finished product needs to hold up to that standard-- organic bends and movements are a must.
Attention to detail and enthusiasm are really important- the right person for the job will be able to look at this character and not only take it across the finish line, but identify areas where we can improve on what's already there to make it look even better.
I'm really looking for someone who's going to dig into this project and have fun with it in addition to making some money. If working on something along the lines of Pacific Rim sounds fun, this might be a project for you.
