implement MPC and model the predictive behaviour of the microgrid control for each parameter change, e.g. evaluation of cost function.
Several MPC techniques are commonly used these days, e.g. PI control in the outer loop and predictive current control (PCC) in the inner control loop.
The objective of this project is to implement a new technique, predictive power control (PPC), which can be used to predict and control the power directly.
For effective microgrid control, the PPC will be combined with PI regulators to provide additional control loop for voltage and frequency control.
