Critical Data Reindexing issues
One category on the cart was not allowing sales now it seems that this issue is crawling to others as well as new categories and products listed within the cart. displayed a error ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS
The only way we seem to be able to reindex urls is to download the database to a clean version of magento, reindex and then reupload.
( not sure if it may be a Fooman Speedster , canonical module issue ( yoast)
We want to be able to specificy whether individual items are automatically shown/hidden when out of stock.
Someone tried to do this for us (using attribute in_stock) but it messed up the layout (product listing pages are supposed to show 12 items per page - but was getting confused with the items hidden but not shown and counting those towards the 12).
We really need this to work asap as
(1) we need these products to appear in the search engines so that people know we usually stock them
(2) we want to give people the opportunity to request an out of stock notification
(3) we can't use the standard magento "show all out of stock products" because there are just too many products out of stock (we got through cycles of what to hold in inventory)
top level link broken on sub category & product site wide ( template issue?)
Manufactuer when in category is not working when clicking on manufacturer, does not display by that selected manufactuer just jumps to the current category main top level.
