I'm looking for someone who can do data entry for flash cards using the program "Studies" on Macintosh. You will be creating a total of 24 "stacks" (groups of flash cards) surrounding facts on the Academy Awards. The first 12 of these stacks will have three "facets" (individual slides on a given card) and will all follow the following format:
1st facet: [Category] for [Year] [Ceremony number]
(example: Best Actor in a Leading Role for 1937 (10th) )
2nd facet: the winner for that category in that year, along with relevant details
(example: Spencer Tracy (as Manuel Fidello in "Captain Courageous") )
3rd facet: all of the nominees for that category in that year, with the winner listed first, and every other nominee listed on a new line one after the other.
You will do this for every year of the Academy Awards in the following categories: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Animated Feature, Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Original Screenplay, Best Adapted Screenplay.
For the remaining 12 stacks, there will only be two facets per card. They will be in the same categories as above, except they should be titled "Nominees in [category]". The first facet should contain an individual nominee that was listed on the third facet from the previous stacks. The second facet should contain the year and ceremony number associated to that nominee.
Studies is available for a free trial, but you need the MacOS to run it. All of the relevant information to create these cards to freely available on Wikipedia. Upon completion of the 24 stacks, you will output them and email them to me. It's really an easy program to get the hang of, but I can assist you if necessary. I'm just physically disabled and it would be easier for me and quicker for me if someone else handled the data entry.
Hi! This actually seems like a fun project, and I'm very willing to take it on. I can have it done for you in 3-5 days at the most, but is there a specific date you'd need it by?
