Design a Logo

I am looking for a professional vintage/retro logo for my home inspection business. I want to use my logo in a couple of ways. I obviously want to use it on my website as well as making it my Facebook profile picture. I will also be using it on my home inspection reports, business cards, and more. Prince is my last name and I do not really want it to suggest Prince as being royalty because I think that is a little pretentious. Some designs I have seen with a crown do look good but if a crown or something is used I do not want it to be the focal point of the design. I would also like for the logo to have a house or something in it that makes it known when my logo is seen that I am in the business of inspecting houses. Attached I have an example of a logo that was made for me previously. I do not really like the logo because I feel the dimensions are a bit off (it seems a little stubby) and I wasn't a huge fan of the color design....but I do like the logo style in general. I would be happy to answer any other questions.
Lastly....I would like the logo to be able to be put through a Cricket cutting machine to make vinyl stickers and shirts with.
