We need a simple tool to establish a communication between our own ERP-System and our Verifone POS Termials (VX507 DUO, Omni 3740 using other devices is possible).
The Program should send the amount for the transaction to the POS Terminal awaiting transaction results (transaction success / failure and Transaction-ID) and write it back to screen or to a file, that´s all.
We have to communicatie via a TCP/IP between POS-Terminal (although if we need other POS-Terminals) and ERP-System. Rs232 is not suitable in our environment.
The Verfione terminalsuse the dial-out modem for the credit card authorization and the payment. (we do not need to change this.)
So we need a shell-application or a little programm, that will be started with some parameters like ip, value, currency etc. (e.g.: shell#./[url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] [url removed, login to view] EUR)
the programm should then start the pos terminal and enter the value, so the transaction can run. After the transaction has ended the program should output (terminal or file) all important status information returned by the pos-terminal (transaction state, transaction id ....)
WE´re running SUSE-Linux Server Systems. There´re very few libraries installed.
The application should be able to run on every basic linux-shell without installing a lot of further libraries ...
