I have a RAID 1 volume (ext4) format that I want to write to. The disk itself is no longer in a RAID 1 set and this can be broken as long as the data is not lost. I can see the volume in Files app but it's only read only. I want to write files to it.
From mount command:
/dev/mapper/vg1001-lv on /media/ubuntu/1.41.12-3246 type ext4 (rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,uhelper=udisks2)
The flags indicate it's 'rw' but can only read. I want to rename a folder and place some files on this volume.
Command: sudo mount -o rw,remount /
Does not help.
From Parted -l command:
Model: WDC WD40 EZRZ-00GXCB0 (scsi)
Disk /dev/sdb: 4001GB
Sector size (logical/physical): 512B/512B
Partition Table: gpt
Number Start End Size File system Name Flags
1 1049kB 2551MB 2550MB ext4 raid
2 2551MB 4699MB 2147MB linux-swap(v1) raid
3 4832MB 4001GB 3996GB raid
