I have a Qnap server. The RAID 5 configuration is not active and the Notes Station app does not work. I enclose a log of what has occurred to date. I had 2 hdd that were faulty and as a result the RAID became inactive. I replaced one of the hard drives and after a rebuild all of the files re-appeared. Since then, the 2nd hard drive has been replaced and the initial problem has come back. Again, the RAID appears to be inactive and again the files no longer appear - I require someone to help recover these files and reactivate the RAID5.
I do have Qnap support to assist me with these issues however they operate on a 24hr response basis which means that a simple conversation can take a week or so just to explain the issues. I will need someone on an ongoing basis to assist me with day to day issues as well as help us to optimise our use of the server and utilise the facilities more to help my small business.
