The aim of the GO-CORE project is to create a mobile access architecture, which enables ubiquitous broadband Internet access by optimized use of heterogeneous wireless networks. This goal is achieved through the combined use of Ad Hoc networking technologies with mobility management protocols.
The project will research mobility management in fixed, mobile, and mobile Ad Hoc networks. The focus of the project will be on the effects of mobility on IPv6 networking and the solutions required for maintaining user communications in spite of frequent movement and changes in the network topology.
Laboratory for Theoretical Computer Science (TCS) is responsible for the GO-CORE project.
