Wanted: Photoshop artist for 4 weeks work. Pay is low -- £300 per week --as the project has a limited budget. However, this is an exciting project by an award-winning short film director and there's lots of scope for you to influence the aesthetic for the overall project. This project may suit a recent graduate looking to gain experience, or a more experienced Photoshopper who wants a creative challenge. The Brief: To touch up and digitally manipulate approx 400 b+w photos. Some will need only brightness / contrast changing. Others will need bland skies cut out and replaced with stormy, apocalyptic skies. Others may require you to digitally "age" or damage the photo. Others will need more imagination -- eerie lighting, graffiti and other punky urban effects, plus references to different photographic styles and traditions. Requirements: You need to be London-based and available from the third week in January to the third week in February. You need to have your own set-up and be able to work from home, but be available for regular meetings to discuss progress. You need to be fast and experienced on Photoshop, as the project requires you to complete 100 pictures a week. You need to be able to manage your time effectively and meet deadlines. A commitment to high standards and creative flair are also essential. What you need to do next: E-mail info@[url removed, login to view] with your CV pasted into the main body of the e-mail, plus a couple of examples of relevant work (NB: this is not a graphics project -- only those experienced with working with PHOTOGRAPHS need apply). Please note that we are unable to reply to unsuccessful applicants.
