The State of New Mexico is auditing me for sales that were handled through my now-suspended Etsy shop. Because the account was closed without warning in March 2024, I can no longer reach the dashboards that hold my sales records, complete transaction history, tax documents—essentially every piece of financial data the auditor is requesting. Etsy also froze a balance that was due to be paid out to me, and all attempts to resolve the matter through their support channels have stalled. I need a licensed attorney who has experience compelling online marketplaces to release records and payouts. The mandate is twofold: get Etsy to unlock or otherwise provide the sales and tax information the state requires, and recover the funds that remain in the account. Beyond that, I want full legal advice and representation so I can respond to the New Mexico audit with confidence and, if necessary, escalate the issue against Etsy.
