Who We Are Looking For We need a reliable, proactive Local Sourcing & Sales Agent in Nigeria and/or Kenya who can represent VARRELLA in the local market, identify importers/wholesalers/distributors, and help generate export enquiries and orders. This is a remote + market presence role; you will be our local agent and business partner on the ground. > Key Responsibilities As our Local Sourcing Agent, you will be responsible for: > Market & Buyer Identification Identify and list potential local importers, wholesalers, retailers, distributors for kitchenware/household products. Build a database of prospective buyers, including contact info, company profile, category focus, and order volumes. > Outreach & Lead Generation Conduct cold outreach, phone calls, WhatsApp communication, and email campaigns to connect with buyers. Schedule meetings (virtual/in-person) with interested buyers and support initial product introductions. > Market Research Research local market demand, pricing expectations, competition, and trends for kitchenware products. Provide weekly market insights reports with actionable recommendations. > Relationship Building Establish and nurture relationships with key buyers and market stakeholders. Attend local market visits, exhibitions, trade hubs (if feasible) to meet buyers. > Sales Support Facilitate positive communication between VARRELLA and buyers. Provide buyer feedback to improve product fit, packaging, pricing, and delivery terms. > Documentation & Reporting Maintain a CRM list and update all communications and leads. Submit weekly progress reports with enquiries, quotes sent, and meetings completed.
