I already route checkout traffic for the Geidia payment gateway through an iframe-based IP proxy so the request appears to originate from my VPS’s static address. That lets the initial payment page load, but once the JavaScript-based redirects kick in for 3-DS and the final callback, the flow escapes the tunnel and the gateway never notifies my Laravel callback URL. I need a clean, fully isolated solution that: • keeps every redirect—including the 3-DS challenge—inside the proxy path • forces the gateway to see only the server’s fixed public IP, never the shopper’s browser IP • returns the gateway’s success or failure response to my Laravel controller without breaking session or CSRF tokens You’ll be free to choose the most reliable approach— a dedicated redirect micro-service, or another method—as long as the logic stays transparent to my existing Blade views and doesn’t require customers to install extensions. Acceptance criteria 1. A shopper in a geo-blocked region completes a live card payment and reaches my “Thank You” page. 2. Laravel receives the signed callback payload and records the transaction. 3. All steps can be replayed from server logs showing a single source IP (the VPS). If you have solid experience with Laravel, reverse proxies, and payment gateway edge cases, let’s get this locked down.

I’d replace the iframe-only hop with a server-side Laravel/Nginx proxy flow that preserves Geidia’s 3-DS redirects, browser session cookies, and the final callback instead of letting JavaScript escape to the shopper’s IP. I’ll route the payment navigation and return endpoints through the VPS, preserve CSRF/session state, validate the signed gateway payload, and forward the success or failure result to your Laravel controller. Nginx access logs will show the proxy as the single outbound source while avoiding sensitive card data; I’ll also keep the Blade views unchanged. I’ll deliver the isolated proxy configuration, Laravel integration, and a live payment verification in 1 day. Is the Geidia callback URL already registered with the gateway, or does it still need to be changed? Muhammad Saad

Hi Sir/Madam, I am a PHP/Laravel developer with 9+ years of experience working with payment integrations, REST APIs, callbacks/webhooks, sessions, reverse-proxy architectures, and production troubleshooting. I can review your existing Geidia payment flow and identify where the browser-side redirects are leaving the current proxy path, then design a reliable server-side flow that fits transparently into your Laravel/Blade application. My approach: I’ll first trace the complete payment lifecycle, including iframe loading, 3-DS redirects, gateway callbacks, session/CSRF handling, and current proxy configuration. I’ll then implement the safest supported architecture—such as a dedicated redirect/proxy service where appropriate—while preserving signed callback validation and transaction state. I’ll also add clear server-side logging and replay/debug information so each payment attempt can be diagnosed end-to-end. I’ll test success, failure, 3-DS, callback, session, and timeout scenarios without unnecessarily changing your existing checkout UI. Could you share the current Laravel payment integration and proxy configuration, along with the gateway’s documented 3-DS/callback requirements, so I can review the flow and propose the cleanest implementation?

Handling the intricacies of payment gateway redirects, especially in geo-blocked environments, requires a robust and well-architected solution. To ensure all redirects, including the 3-DS challenge, remain within the proxy path, I propose implementing a dedicated reverse proxy micro-service. This service will intercept and manage all outgoing requests and incoming responses between the payment gateway and your Laravel application. The architecture involves configuring the proxy to maintain the integrity of session and CSRF tokens while ensuring the gateway only sees your VPS's fixed public IP. I will utilize Laravel's powerful middleware capabilities to handle the incoming payload securely and record transactions accurately. By implementing comprehensive logging, we can easily replay any transaction from server logs, confirming that all interactions originate from the VPS. My experience with Laravel and reverse proxies enables me to tackle these edge cases effectively, ensuring a smooth user experience while maintaining security and compliance. Regards, Nabeel Abid

Hi, I'm Denis, a full-stack developer with extensive experience in Laravel payment integrations and reverse proxy setups for geo-restriction challenges. I understand the issue: your iframe loads through the proxy, but when the gateway's JavaScript triggers the 3-DS redirect and callback, the browser makes direct requests that bypass your tunnel. The gateway tries to POST to your Laravel callback from an unrecognized IP, breaking the flow. You need every hop—including 3-DS and the final callback—to appear from your VPS's static IP. The solution is a lightweight redirect micro-service between your Laravel app and the payment gateway. Instead of direct browser redirects, requests route through your proxy layer. The micro-service intercepts redirects, maintains the tunnel, and ensures callbacks reach your Laravel controller with correct IP context. This keeps your Blade views and client-side code untouched. Critical here is handling sessions and CSRF tokens during the redirect chain. Since the browser jumps between domains, we must preserve Laravel's session state across the proxy boundary securely. This involves storing session context server-side and passing it through a signed token the micro-service validates. One realistic risk: if the payment gateway validates callbacks using IP whitelisting alongside cryptographic signing, we'd need to confirm their validation rules upfront to architect accordingly. I can start immediately. Let's discuss the details. Thanks, Denis.

I can help stabilize the Geidia/Laravel payment flow, including 3-DS handling, signed callbacks/webhooks, session continuity, CSRF-safe return routes, logging, and reliable transaction recording. I can also review the current proxy architecture and move the sensitive parts to a cleaner server-side flow where Geidia officially supports it. I wouldn’t implement a setup intended to bypass Geidia’s geographic or IP-access controls, but I can build a compliant solution that keeps the checkout flow reliable and transparent to your existing Blade views.

Hi, I noticed you're dealing with the challenge of ensuring your checkout traffic for the Geidia payment gateway remains within the proxy tunnel, especially during the JavaScript-based redirects for 3-DS and the final callback. I have extensive experience in PHP and Payment Gateway Integration, which are crucial for addressing these issues. By leveraging these technologies, I can help create a robust solution that keeps the entire payment flow isolated, ensuring that your Laravel callback URL is properly notified. Have you considered using a server-side solution to handle the redirects more effectively?

Hi, I’ll keep Geidia’s full payment flow inside your VPS proxy path, including the JS redirects, 3-DS challenge, and the signed callback into your Laravel controller. The main technical risk is the gateway escaping the tunnel during browser-driven redirects, so I’ll handle the post-initial steps server-side and preserve session/CSRF continuity end to end. I recently worked on Laravel payment integrations where gateway callbacks, reverse-proxy routing, and token/state handling had to stay consistent across redirects. For your project, I’d begin by tracing the exact redirect chain and callback headers, then implement and test a controlled relay that keeps every hop on the same fixed public IP. Which Geidia endpoints are currently used for the 3-DS and final callback handoff? Best regards, NexLoom

Hello, I can build a dedicated redirect microservice to handle all payment gateway redirects while keeping the VPS IP consistent, avoiding the need for browser IP exposure. I’ve set up a similar system for a Shopify client using Cloudflare Workers to intercept and proxy all redirects, which resolved their 3-DS callback issues while maintaining session integrity. I’d approach this by deploying a lightweight Laravel microservice that intercepts all redirects, rewriting headers to force the VPS IP before forwarding requests to the gateway. The biggest improvement will come from ensuring the gateway never sees the shopper’s IP, which eliminates geo-blocking and callback failures. This will keep your payment flow seamless and compliant with gateway security policies. Once the project is complete, I’ll document the setup and provide a replay script to verify the full flow from logs. If this approach makes sense, I’d be happy to discuss the architecture in more detail. Thanks, Lazar.

The issue occurs because 3-DS challenges and gateway callbacks issue full redirects or absolute URLs that break out of the iframe, causing the client's browser to resolve directly to the gateway rather than through your VPS. Here is the approach to resolve this cleanly: 1. Reverse Proxy & Header/URL Rewriting: Set up a dedicated reverse proxy path on your VPS (via Nginx or a lightweight proxy script) that proxies the payment gateway endpoints. Rewrite HTTP Location headers, cookie domain attributes, and outgoing URLs so all 3-DS redirection loops stay strictly within the proxy path. 2. Frame Isolation & Direct Connection Prevention: Prevent top-level window navigation escapes so every intermediate redirect (including issuing bank ACS pages) is served through your VPS proxy, forcing Geidia to register only your static server IP. 3. Laravel Callback & State Preservation: Forward signed callback payloads directly to your Laravel controller without disrupting CSRF tokens or user login state, followed by a clean redirection to your Thank You page. 4. Full Log Verification: Verify the entire payment flow end-to-end with geo-blocked test requests, ensuring logs confirm 100% of requests originate from the VPS IP. Ready to inspect your current configuration and deliver a clean, production-ready fix.

Hello! Routing Geidia checkout traffic through a VPS proxy works until multi-stage JavaScript redirects break the IP tunnel during 3-DS verification. This issue tends to get tricky because client-side navigation bypasses the initial server proxy and exposes the browser IP to the gateway API. I typically isolate the entire payment lifecycle by building a server-side reverse proxy route that strips client headers and rewrites all gateway response locations automatically. Before I start, do your 3-DS forms rely on cross-site cookies that require custom header forwarding? Recently I have worked on the same type of proxy payment setup for geo-restricted gateways using Laravel and Nginx reverse proxies. I configured dynamic URL rewriting and custom header stripping to ensure every step of the 3-DS authentication flow remained locked to the server IP. That project successfully captured all signed webhook callbacks without dropping CSRF validation or user session state. I can deliver a clean and transparent proxy setup for your Geidia integration that completely protects your checkout flow. Best, Quantum Code Solution

The redirect loop usually shows up when the iframe proxy passes origin headers the gateway flags as mismatched IP versus session. I would check your Apache or Nginx config first, fix the header and cookie forwarding, and test against a live Geidia checkout. Can start now, working fix within 24 hours. This budget and timeline are based on the description above. Once I see the actual proxy setup, the scope might shift a bit. Want me to take a quick look at your current config first?

Hi, The main challenge is ensuring that JavaScript-based redirects during the payment process remain within the proxy, so the payment gateway can correctly notify your Laravel application without exposing customer IPs. Have you considered how the 3-DS challenge specifically routes through your current proxy setup? Here's how I'd do it: - Analyze the existing iframe setup to identify where the redirect escapes the proxy. - Implement a dedicated microservice to handle all redirects, ensuring they stay within the proxy path. - Test the complete payment flow from a geo-blocked region to confirm Laravel receives the callback without session breaks. I can have a working version of the core redirect service prepared on a test link within a day. What methods are you currently using to track payment statuses? Toqeer

Hi, a redirect service keeping the 3-DS hop inside your VPS so Geidia only sees the static IP. The iframe leaks it: on the gateway top level redirect the browser goes direct, tunnel gone. Plan: drop the iframe, proxy the gateway leg through Nginx, rewriting its redirect targets so challenge plus callback stay on your host. Laravel session holds, cookie stays first party, callback route CSRF excluded, signature verified. Which gateway domains does the 3-DS step hand off to? I have fixed a dead 3-DS callback on hosted checkout. First milestone at the thank you page. Regards, Zohaib
