Build Esports Fantasy League Platform

Who We Are: ACF Group’s leading product, is a brand-new web service called Esports Fantasy League Platform (ESFL). The goal is to provide an ultimate experience for our customers and esports athletes, through a fair, accurate and up-to-date athlete performance monitoring and evaluation system. It will determine athlete’s performance rankings while allowing our customers to build and manage their own Allstars Fantasy Team Line-up. Their Allstars Fantasy Team Line-ups will compete during actual live esports tournaments and will have the opportunity to gain financial rewards by either winning these fantasy tournaments or achieving a top three placement. ESFL will cover all major, premier and minor tournaments for the three leading esports disciplines: Dota 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and League of Legends. Our Product: The main aim of Esports Fantasy League Platform is to provide a customer friendly esports athlete’s performance monitoring and evaluation system, across multiple esports disciplines. It also needs to be simple to maintain with minimal cost for the consumer while enjoying fresh, new, experiences. Esports Fantasy League Tournaments Schedules will be aligned with the dates of current or upcoming real tournaments in each esports discipline. Each tournament will have multiple teams based on real tournaments and team entries. Customers will be able to select their own fantasy team based on team entries from the generated athlete’s pools. Individual players performances will be monitored and measured via performance metrics system. The data will assess players performance statistics for each tournament on a seasonal basis. This will be a constant real-time process updated multiple times per day. This process will be triggered by the official game start and finishing times. Once all the required data has been processed, the player’s fantasy score will be calculated as per each tournament and games played while the accumulative daily score will be calculated at the end of each gaming day. This score will be carried forward to the customer’s total fantasy score. Therefore, ESFL will be able to provide the customer with all the latest and up-to-date data to make an informed decision for the minimum cost while creating their fantasy superstar line up. This means, consumers are only required to pay a single fantasy tournament registration fee, instead of making game-by-game bets. What You Will be Doing • Developing and maintaining ESFL platform utilising Laravel Vapor framework • Design and deploy enterprise-wide dynamically scalable, highly available, fault tolerant, secure and reliable applications on AWS full-stack • Contributing to the teams drive for innovation and continuous technological improvement • Understanding given business domain to effectively design and implement solutions to meet stakeholders’ requirements • Aligning to quality assurance standards and best practices for development of testable solutions • Supporting and problem diagnosing production issues as necessary • Liasing with ESFL product and service providers to resolve issues or provide new or additional functionality to the platform Skills That Will Help You in Role • Laravel Vapor 5.8 and higher framework as a base for ESFL development • Laravel Voyager for admin panel development • MariaDB • PHP • HTML/CSS3/JavaScript/Vue.js/REST API • Understanding of AWS Cloud solution architecture • Understanding of payments systems integrations How You Will be Working • Fully remote work • Flexible working hours • Part-time/full-time (subject to contract agreement) • Continual development of ESFL platform development • Working as a part of a small agile team • Regular stand ups and progress reviews
