I need an end-to-end Android application called “EkBill” that lets small shopkeepers handle accounting, GST-compliant billing, inventory control, and staff oversight from one clean, easy-to-use screen. Core scope • Billing & GST – invoices must calculate and record CGST/SGST/IGST automatically and export GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and sales registers in Excel/PDF. • Inventory – real-time stock updates, low-stock alerts, and automatic re-ordering for flagged items. • Thermal printer integration – print instantly through 58 mm and 80 mm Bluetooth thermal printers. • Employee module – add users, assign simple roles, and track their sales activity. UI expectations A modern Material-style interface with 2D icons is essential. I’m fine with starting from solid template layouts as long as colours, typography, and iconography are customised enough to feel branded and friendly. Technical notes – Android-only (8.0+), built in Kotlin or Flutter—whichever delivers smoother Bluetooth printing. – Local storage via SQLite/Room; cloud sync can be added later. – Deliver a signed APK and the full, well-commented source code. Acceptance criteria 1. I can create a GST-ready invoice, print it over Bluetooth, and watch inventory deduct instantly. 2. Items falling below threshold are flagged and a purchase-order list is generated automatically. 3. Monthly GST reports export without data loss. 4. All screens display correctly on common 6″–7″ devices with no lag. Include your preferred tech stack, links to similar work, and the timeline you foresee for both an MVP and final release.
