We want to customise how the heatmap colors are displayed and the customisation that we want to do needs logical change made to some core components of the library.
Our 2 main problems are:
1- Limitation in choosing the exact color according to data values.
Imagine we have 3 values (1,2,3) and 3 colors (1-green, 2-orange, 3-red). Each value represents a color.
If the data value is 1 then it shows green, which is ok and no problem at all. But if data value is more than "1", for example "2" then it shows all the colors in order.
So for example: if value is 3, it will show red in the center, orange in the middle and green at the outside of the circle.
We only want to show a single color which is the actual color of the value.
2- Limitation for modifying how overlapping circle colors behave.
Component adds the data values of the overlapping areas together and shows them merged. This results in increased value which shows wrong color.
For example: if we have 2 green zones with some overlap to each other. The overlap area would show in orange (because 1+1=2 and 2 is orange).
We want to prevent this and show green only even zones overlap on each other.
Please review the component code and identify the places that are related to the above functionality and let me know if this is something you can do.
Please note that this component is used in our web app(asp.net) and thats where we want you to work and deliver the solution. I want fully tested, perfectly working, bug free solution. We will provide you with a test server with the web app and the database running.
