This relates to the faqAccordion element of the Turbo theme.
I would like to duplicate the element and make some modifications to how it works. Let’s call the duplicated element NewAccordion.
So on my product page, there will be a product description followed by a NewAccordion element.
1. Header that says “Product description” in div named “PD_Header”
2. Product description text in div “divDes”
3. NewAccordion element with 2 tabs – “Specifications” and “Features Summary”
1. Div “PD_Header”
2. Div “divDes”
+++++++++ NewAccordion ++++++++++++
3. NewAccordion Tab 1
3b. NewAccordion Tab 2
When any tab in NewAccordion is clicked I want div “divDes” to slide up and disappear, like an accordion. The other tabs of NewAccordion should also close (the current JS code leaves the other tabs open).
When div “PD_Header” is clicked I want “divDes” to slide down and reveal, again like an accordion. At the same time, all other tabs in NewAccordion should close.
The reason I am structuring this is because I hear Google penalises accordion text in SEO, so I do not want the main description to be in an accordion tab (rather in an ordinary div that acts like an accordion tab).
