We need a horizontal repeating scroller that would display a series of images auto scrolling to start with and scrolling automatically on start up. Each image must have two states: normal and mouseover. The Mouse over state would animate the image slightly larger and possibly make it full colour, whilst normal may be greyscale images.
The images should also be clickable and the data for these images and URLs would be stored within an XML file that we would generate using PHP but would require you to create a static XML file format initially.
The stage (width and height) would ideally be something we could set up possibly in the XML but the whole animation needs to support at least one image and this would replicate across the stage so that the stage was always full, and also still scrolled indefinately in both directions. Ideally the stage would be full of different images and URLs, however our client may not have enough images to start with to fill the full width of the stage, hence the reason for duplication to fill any gaps.
The animation would be triggered by the mouse X position within the sroller container and so the further right in the container the faster the scroll would move to the left and vice versa.
We would also like to set a "deadzone" within the middle of the scroller so that if the mouse was within this "deadzone" the animation would stop.
