So I'm writing a simple web application a "instagram" like app where the user is able to post photos with taks, have followers etc.
SO WHAT I NEED IS: MAKE IT AVAILABLE FOR THE USER TO EDIT HIS PROFILE.
So basically you will have to add some button at the profile page and when the user clicks that button the content of the page gets switch to a FORM that allows the user to edit his basic information, this information is the following:
The fields that should be editable are (extracted from json-server/[url removed, login to view]):
"email": "anicolau@[url removed, login to view]",
And as you saw this information is stored in the [url removed, login to view] and accesible via a very simple json-server api.
Then after editing his information the user should be able to click, submit that information to the db and switch the content back to it's profile.
Do it the way you prefer but please follow the mode-view-controller logic as I used in the rest of the application.
So the files you'll have to edit are basically:
instaglike/public/js/views/user/[url removed, login to view]
instaglike/json-server/[url removed, login to view]
instaglike/public/templates/user/[url removed, login to view]
but may be more depending on what you do.
I've uploaded a photo of the profile page (not accurate)
All the code is written by me and is here for free: you can just CLONE it to work with it
[url removed, login to view]
HOW TO MAKE JSON BACKEND WORK

Run the JSON-Server
json-server $ node [url removed, login to view]
