Comiq is an an up-and-coming comic-making and sharing social network. Its aim is to introduce an experience, unlike any other in regards to creating comics.
-- What do I need you to do? --
While I have essentially mapped out a baseline, there are still a hefty amount of things that need to be implemented into the site, and that's where you come in.
* indicates that I have an exact idea on what I'm after and will share the details/video guidelines upon taking the project.
1. Multi-panel canvas support
Panels - or canvases - should be able to be copied, deleted, added and coloured. I have a set idea on how I want it to look, but am susceptible to change.
2. A character builder *
Users should be able to create their own digital avatars and characters so they can use them within the comic builder. You should be able to change the colours of every body part and clothing item as well as resize and arrange all body parts to provide full customization over clients' characters.
3. A character rigger (for the comic builder) *
For full effect, users will be able to flexibly pose characters to their liking, as well as have the opportunity to choose from custom, pre-determined pose presets. Limbs such as arms, legs, feet, hands, neck and head etc. will all be bendable, similar to that of a ragdoll. Eyes will need the option to actively move pupils, making them able to look in certain directions. They will also need an eyelid system for selecting whether the character has their eyes closed, open, half-open etc. Mouths should have a similar effect; open, closed, extremely open. Alongside this, mouths should also be able to have their shape changed to signify emotion. For example, shocked, sad, angry, happy etc.
Posture aside, characters will also need to be able to be rotated in increments of 45 degrees. For example, pressing a button will rotate their entire body by 45 degrees, pressing it again would then rotate the body by another 45 degrees and so forth, essentially providing full rotation for the characters.
