We need to convert the version of a local "hikari.co.il" site (right-to-left), to an international "goHIKARI.com" site that will support English (left-to-right), Russian (right-to-left). The international site should be a mirror image of the Hebrew site, meaning that right objects go to left and left objects go to right (with exception of the logo at the top navigation bar that remains on the left, as seen in [url removed, login to view]).
This is mainly a XHTML/JS work and it is purely programming (no need for any design). The pages are static, except for the index that should automatically detect the origin IP and redirect to an [url removed, login to view], where x is the targeted language, correlated with the browser IP (the necessary for language detection can be found in the net).
As you may have seen already by now, the sources of [url removed, login to view] contain lots of text as images (mainly because of lack of fonts in Hebrew). We would like to get rid of these images as much as possible, but we can leave it for the second stage of the project, in order to keep the requirements simple and well defined.
For better specification of the scope of this project, we would like to clarify that it is not in your responsibility to translate the text and to edit the images containing Hebrew text. Instead, use a dummy text such as "text block 5 text block 5 text b..." and use the images with Hebrew text as is (e.g., "send" button). With respect to fonts, we will provide you with the mapping (e.g., "Oron" maps to "Arial", "DGL Tal" maps to "Verdana", etc.).
Last, since we do not have a management interface for this site, the code should be neat and clean with comments in order to ease updates. The code should conform to XHTML 1.0 Transitional standard.
