Windows7/Vista 64 bit Gadget

I have developed a 32 bit sidebar gadget which embeds a .NET Winforms Usercontrol as a com object into the sidebar gadget that works on Windows7/Vista 32 bit platforms. I used the following utility developed by Mark Schmidt to help me do the dirty work.

His Blog:

Gadget Creator:

[url removed, login to view]

My problem, is that I cant get it to work on the Windows7/Vista 64 bit systems and I am not sure how to fix it. The gadget tool generates the code that automatically registers the dll via javascript (which you will see if you download the utility).

The only thing I can think of is that the [url removed, login to view] is 64bit process and the the exe/dll that the javascript is calling is 32bit, which I think may be the problem.

I am hoping that someone knows a workaround for this.

So what I am looking for is someone to simply create a "hello world" usercontrol that registers in the sidebar on windows7/vista 64 bit systems. Maybe it is as simple as altering the javascript to use other methods to load the usercontrol.

Please PM any questions you may have.
