A health club and gym organization needs a program that will create beautiful and functional timetables for our group fitness classes. We currently do our timetables manually, which is very time consuming, and im hoping some of you cleaver people out there might be able to provide an easier way.
I am hoping for a simple application to be developed where someone can enter information as to what fitness class takes place on what day at what time, and the program will organize this information and spit it out in the form of a neat timetable with class logos arranged accurately. We would need to use pre-existing logos in the timetable, and i would like to be able to prescribe the exact layout and look of the timetable. We can get our inhouse designer to mock it up so you will have something to go off. It would be very simple.
The page where a user enters information would need to be really simple. You would first select a class (eg yoga) out of a list of options (we would need to add and subtract classes every now and then as our schedule changes- so this would require some maintenance on your behalf). Then there would be a category for each day of the week and you can enter at which times the class takes place. Im then hoping a user could press 'submit' and the program would spit out the timetable.
It would be ideal if this program could create this timetable as a jpeg- because this can easily be dropped into other documents using indesign, and we could customize the rest of the page.
We have a company intranet and it would be ideal if the application could be built to work on the intranet so an individual gym can enter the timetable information from the gym and I can access the resulting timetable from head office. I am open to suggestions though if this is too complicated?
I am excited to hear some responses- any questions just ask!
